Environmental Education Opportunity

I received the following message from Danny Reddan to pass on to our Environment Group. If anyone is interested in this course, please contact me on 0412 334 521 for a copy of the Schedule. Depending on interest, the King Parrot Creek Environment Group may be able to organise some  assistance.

Hi all,

I am pleased to announce the details for the 2013 Habitat Conservation & Management Course as follows (Schdule attached).

Date:     15 week evening course (including seven Saturday field trips)
               Commencing: August 13 2013

Time:    18:30 – 21:30 (evening sessions)

When:   13 August – 19 November

Where:  La Trobe University – Wildlife Sanctuary Learning Centre

Cost:     $1900 for NRM professionals or  $1000 for Friends /Landcare volunteers (GST exc) Includes materials + refreshments

 You are receiving this because you have either indicated an interest in attending the course or have participated in the past.

 To confirm your place in this year’s course, please fill out the attached enrolment form and return it with payment.  Alternatively, please distribute to others in your network who would benefit from their involvment.  Numbers are limited and the course has been fully subscribed for over 10 years in the current format and for over 30 years in total!

 Which brings me to the second point I would like to raise, that is, a HCMC reunion lunchtime BBQ at the Latrobe Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday April 6.  Please let me know if you would be interested in attending.  You can email me or look up the Habitat Conservation and Management Facebook page.
